Northern Virginia Technology Council

The Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) is the trade association representing the Northern Virginia technology community. As one of the nation’s largest technology councils, NVTC serves companies from all sectors of the industry, from small businesses and startups to Fortune 100 technology companies, as well as service providers, academic institutions, foreign embassies, nonprofit organizations and government agencies. More than 500 member companies make up the NVTC membership and look to the organization as a resource for networking and educational opportunities, peer-to-peer communities, policy advocacy, industry promotion, fostering of strategic relationships, and branding of the region as a major global technology center.

Event Overview:

As businesses and consumers generate exponentially more data and demand for data storage, protection, and analytics, data centers are increasingly recognized as the backbone of technology and innovation worldwide. Virginia has emerged as the world’s largest data center market, and the data center sector is now a substantial economic driver statewide.

Join us as we host the 2023 NVTC Data Center Awards honoring this valuable industry sector. All statewide business community and public sector leaders are invited to celebrate these successes with NVTC and the data center community.

Awards Overview:

Nominations are now open!

For 2023, eight award categories will recognize data centers that implement innovative construction projects, energy efficient practices, or impactful community engagements. In addition, the awards will honor individuals who have advanced the data center sector or championed the industry. All award categories will be judged by an independent panel of business leaders.
